Toni has been engaged in veterinary medicine since 1992. She received an Associates of Animal Science in Veterinary Technology from Blue Ridge Community College in 1997. She returned to her hometown of Chesapeake, VA and worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in a variety of clinical settings—including emergency, equine, and orthopedic veterinary medicine—before finding her true passion: veterinary ophthalmology. She has been employed by Animal Eye Care since 1998.
In 2013, Toni received her bachelor’s degree in biology (with honors) from Hampton University located in Hampton, VA. Toni has over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field with a strong professional interest and advanced training in veterinary anesthesia. She has frequently attended the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology (ACVO) continuing education conferences since 2001.
Outside of Animal Eye Care, Toni enjoys ballroom dancing and spending time with her husband, two children, and three dogs.
