Niamh (pronounced “Neve”) is a 2005 graduate of Northern Virginia Community College with an Applied Associates in Veterinary Technology. She was born in Ireland and moved around to several countries as a child before settling in Hampton Roads at 10 years of age. She started her veterinary career in 1999 working in emergency medicine before finding ophthalmology and has been with Animal Eye Care since 2007. Niamh is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America.
Niamh enjoys spending her time off with her two children, Aoife and Audric, and her menagerie of animals: three dogs—Jasper (a Chocolate Lab), FN 2187 aka Finn (a Golden Retriever), and Ciara (a Teacup Chihuahua)—five chickens, two rats, a few beta fish, and a whites tree frog.
